A proposed state law aimed primarily at a Franklin County man with a persistent fetish for gathering and drinking the urine of young boys was approved today by the Ohio Senate.

Senate Bill 58 would make it a crime to collect blood, urine, tissue or other bodily fluids from someone without their consent. The legislation, approved 30-3, moves to the House.

State Sen. Jim Hughes, R-Columbus, the sponsor of the bill, said it is “unfortunate that this addition to Ohio law has to be made, but it’s necessary to protect our children.”
